Synopsis:

'Inspired by Jorge de Lima's poem and soundtrack composed by Chico Buarque and Edu Lobo, “O Grande Circo Místico” was shot in Portugal in early 2015. "

The film tells the story of 5 generations of the same circus family. . From the inauguration of the Great Mystic Circus in 1910 to the present day, we will accompany, through Celavi (Jesuíta Barbosa the master of ceremonies that never grows old, the adventures and loves of the Knieps, from the apogee to the decay, till the surprising finale in a film in which reality and fantasy meet in a mystical universe. '
