Synopsis

​

In the 70s, virtually all South American countries lived under military dictatorships. The rulers decided to create among these nations a clandestine union to combat the democratic resistance that still existed. It was the end of citizens' rights, of diplomatic sovereignties, of borders, and of the laws that protected the population. The kidnapping, torture and murder of political prisoners and exiles were institutionalized. Called Operation Condor, this somber network of illegal practices, sustained by paramilitary groups, destroyed any form of resistance and opposition to these dictatorial regimes.
